Lip Blush

Your lips, in their best colour - every morning, without reaching for anything.

Lip blush is a semi-permanent tattoo that layers sheer, buildable pigment into the lip to restore colour, sharpen a softened border and even out asymmetry.

It ISN'T filler, and it's NOT a harsh, unnatural drawn-on lipstick line ( like 90s style).

Think of it as a tint that lives in the skin: your own shape, just better.

It works particularly well on lips that have lost definition over time, pale or patchy pigmentation, a blurred border, scarring, or one side sitting fuller than the other.

How it works

Every treatment starts with mapping. I measure and draw the shape against your own facial proportions before a needle touches the skin.

You approve the shape and the shade before we begin, and numbing is used throughout.

To fully complete the treatment you need two appointments - initial session builds the base; I do not recommend to go "to crazy" with colours and saturation. Touch up session is recommended 8 to 12 weeks later - we will discuss your end goal expectations and re-asses if needed.

What to expect

  • More intense colour with little swelling for the first 24-48 hours - in fact swelling looks often quite good!

  • Mild flaking around days 3 to 5

  • Then a "ghosting  phase " where the colour looks like it has disappeared - don't worry it hasn't.

  • True colour settles at 6 to 8 weeks and holds for roughly 2 to 3 years, fading gradually rather than sharply.

If you're prone to cold sores, you'll need antiviral tablets in advance.

That one isn't optional, and I'll talk you through it at consultation.
